NEET MDS 2024 New Result To Release Soon: The NEET MDS cut-off used for admission to post graduate dental courses has been reduced. Now candidates with low percentile will also be able to take admission in PG dental courses. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reduced the NEET MDS cut-off percentile. After this, a new result will be released once again in which more candidates will be selected.

Counselling link will open again

The results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 were released quite a while ago. Counselling has also been done and in the meantime the results will be released again, after which the counselling will start again. The counselling link will be re-opened.

What is the new percentile

The cut-off percentile for all categories i.e. General, SC, ST, OBC and UR-PWD has been reduced by 21.692. Talking separately, the cut-off for the General (UR/EWS) category has been reduced from 50 to 28.308.

The new cut-off for SC, ST, OBC and PH category candidates has become 18.308 which was earlier 40. Similarly, the revised cut-off for UR-PwBD candidates which was 45 percentile has now come down to 23.308.

The result came on this date

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences released the results of NEET MDS exam on 3 April. The exam was conducted on 18 March. However, now the revised result will be released again. This time the results will be updated according to the new percentile.

Counseling should also be started

One more thing is clear due to the decrease in percentile that now more candidates will get admission in PG courses of dental. In view of this, it can also be clearly said that now counseling will also start again. It would be better for the candidates to keep checking the official website from time to time to get the latest information in this regard.

Efforts to fill vacant seats

It seems that the Health Ministry has taken this decision so that the seats of NEET MDS 2024 do not remain vacant. If seen, the results of stray vacancy counseling have also been released. In such a situation, the initiative of giving admission to more candidates in PG courses by reducing the percentile shows the ministry’s effort to fill the seats. For this, the entire process will have to be started again and now more candidates will be able to take admission.
